Unimicron Technology Corp. won the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) - Category Social Empowerment Award

As a member of the global corporate citizen, Unimicron Technology Corp. also strives to fulfill its corporate social responsibilities while putting into operation, actively cares for different groups in the society, and continuously invests resources through the spirit of caring and giving back to the society to make the world a better idea. Now in progress. Unimicron Technology Corp. continues to carry out relevant measures based on this concept, and this year it has been affirmed and recognized by international awards!!

The Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA), hosted by Enterprise Asia, is known as the "Nobel Prize for Sustainability"!! This year (2023) it has attracted a total of 19 Asian countries, as many as 260 companies and 378 proposals applied for the competition. After 5 months of rigorous review and verification, 78 outstanding companies or entrepreneurs were selected to win awards, and Unimicron Technology Corp. also stood out from the participating companies this time and was awarded the category "Social Empowerment” award.

This year, the Administrative Services Department represented the company to participate in this international competition. The theme of the competition is " The Hope of Unimicron and Taipei Prison”-Waste Wood Pallet Recycling Project, and the company's ESG policy is connected with the Ministry of Justice. The reuse of resources, this project combines the model of circular economy and social integration. The theme and content of the project are very meaningful. It meets the three indicators of SDG12 responsible consumption and production, SDG15 conservation of terrestrial ecology, and SDG8 dignified employment and economic growth.
