Unimicron sponsors 2022 7th ECO ECHO Awards Public welfare activities

In response to the "Eco Echo Award" sponsorship program initiated by United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC), Unimicron supports environmental protection actions to fulfill corporate social responsibility. We hope that through the interactive platform established by the "Eco Echo Award" scholars, experts, environmentalists, and enterprises could share resources and protect the environment.

In response to our customer UMC's original intention to protect our home, we continue to support the "Eco Echo Award" initiative to demonstrate our response and support for biodiversity and to promote the harmonious co-existence between human and nature. Through our green spirit and actions, we will continue to promote and expand our efforts to protect our homes. The award ceremony was held on November 25, 2022, and a total of $4 million was awarded to the winners, and certificates of appreciation were presented to the corporate as a win-win economic and environmental partnership.

The theme of the 7th "Eco Echo Award" includes projects related to "ecological conservation," "circular economy," or "climate change." In addition to the continued emphasis on biodiversity, the award also extends its influence to the fields of climate change and circular economy. The awards are designed for different stakeholders, including the Ecological Conservation Project Award (Social Group), Youth Environmental Action Award (Student Group), Innovation Field (Innovation Group), etc. A total of 143 cases were received, showing the support of stakeholders for environmental conservation.
