MOEA Minister Jong-Chin Shen Visited Unimicron to Witness the Results of Introducing Intelligent Manufacturing

MOEA Minister Jong-Chin Shen led a dozen senior officials, including Deputy Director General of IDB Chih-Ching Yang, Director of Information Technology Industries Division of IDB Cheng-Chin Lu and Executive Vice President of III Ren-Dar Yang to visit Unimicron on June 12, for the witness of introducing intelligence results, assisted by TPCA. In the meeting, Unimicron shared experiences in Intelligent manufacturing as well as application of important technologies. Unimicron also made detailed explanations and on-the-spot display of automation production line to demonstrate that production status and production parameters can be accurately controlled, and further enhance the tracking and management of products. During the two-hour meeting, MOEA Minister Jong-Chin Shen affirmed Unimicron is the pioneer for PCB Industry 4.0. He was also concerned about when the Taiwanese PCB production value will be more than 1 trillion, and hoped the PCB industry will be smarter through the 5G private network in the future, which will help enhance the competitiveness of the industry and enterprises.
